What it costs to fit

The ₹520 rate covers the stone only. A regular slab is 147 cm wide, and a platform 2 ft deep takes 61 cm of that, so one slab yields two full-length runs of about 10.5 ft with a 25 cm strip to spare. A two-run kitchen fits one slab; add an island and you are into a second.

Fabrication and installation is ₹12,000 per slab and covers cutting, edge polishing, transport and fitting. Sink and hob cutouts are charged separately. A pencil-nosed edge is included; bull nosing is ₹150 per running foot and a mitred joint, which makes the edge look like a thicker slab, is ₹300 per running foot.

Living with Plain Beige

Quartz is non-porous, so Plain Beige does not need sealing and resists the tea, coffee, oil and turmeric stains a Chennai kitchen sees daily. Wipe it with a soft cloth and mild dishwashing liquid. Use a trivet for hot vessels straight off the flame, and a board for chopping — the surface is scratch-resistant, not scratch-proof.

Common questions

What does Plain Beige quartz cost in Chennai?

Plain Beige is ₹520 per square foot for the stone, material only. One full regular slab is 322 × 147 cm — 51 sq ft — which works out to ₹26,520. Fabrication and installation is a separate ₹12,000 per slab and covers cutting, edge polishing, transport and fitting. Cutouts for a sink or hob are charged on top.

How many slabs of Plain Beige will my kitchen need?

A regular slab is 147 cm wide. A platform 2 ft deep takes 61 cm of that, so one slab yields two full-length runs of about 10.5 ft with a 25 cm strip to spare. A straightforward two-run kitchen usually fits in a single slab; adding an island or a tall backsplash generally pushes the job into a second slab even when the raw area looks like it would fit.

Will the joints show on Plain Beige?

Plain Beige is a consistent, low-movement surface, so joints bonded with colour-matched resin sit close to invisible once polished. Tell us where the joints will fall at measurement and we cut to suit.

Does Plain Beige stain in an Indian kitchen?

Plain Beige is non-porous, so turmeric, tamarind, coffee and cooking oil sit on the surface rather than soaking in, and it never needs sealing. Wipe spills with a soft cloth and mild dishwashing liquid. Being a light surface it shows a spill sooner than a dark one does, but it does not hold the stain. Use a trivet for vessels coming straight off the flame — direct heat, not staining, is the real risk with any quartz.

Can I see a full Plain Beige slab before ordering?

Yes. Plain Beige is on the racks at our Maduravoyal yard in full slab size, not in a sample book, so you can see the whole pattern in daylight before committing. We also deliver free samples anywhere in Chennai if you want to hold it against your cabinet and floor finishes first.
