What it costs to fit
The ₹890 rate covers the stone only. A jumbo slab is 163 cm wide, and a platform 2 ft deep takes 61 cm of that, so one slab yields two full-length runs of about 10.5 ft with a 41 cm strip to spare. A two-run kitchen fits one slab; add an island and you are into a second.
Fabrication and installation is ₹12,000 per slab and covers cutting, edge polishing, transport and fitting. Sink and hob cutouts are charged separately. A pencil-nosed edge is included; bull nosing is ₹150 per running foot and a mitred joint, which makes the edge look like a thicker slab, is ₹300 per running foot.

Living with Calacatta Rustic Brown
Quartz is non-porous, so Calacatta Rustic Brown does not need sealing and resists the tea, coffee, oil and turmeric stains a Chennai kitchen sees daily. Wipe it with a soft cloth and mild dishwashing liquid. Use a trivet for hot vessels straight off the flame, and a board for chopping — the surface is scratch-resistant, not scratch-proof.
Common questions
What does Calacatta Rustic Brown quartz cost in Chennai?
Calacatta Rustic Brown is ₹890 per square foot for the stone, material only. One full jumbo slab is 321 × 163 cm — 56.32 sq ft — which works out to ₹50,125. Fabrication and installation is a separate ₹12,000 per slab and covers cutting, edge polishing, transport and fitting. Cutouts for a sink or hob are charged on top.
How many slabs of Calacatta Rustic Brown will my kitchen need?
A jumbo slab is 163 cm wide. A platform 2 ft deep takes 61 cm of that, so one slab yields two full-length runs of about 10.5 ft with a 41 cm strip to spare. A straightforward two-run kitchen usually fits in a single slab; adding an island or a tall backsplash generally pushes the job into a second slab even when the raw area looks like it would fit.
Can the veining in Calacatta Rustic Brown be matched across a joint?
Yes. Because Calacatta Rustic Brown is engineered rather than quarried, the pattern repeats predictably, so two pieces cut from the same or a matching slab can be aligned at a joint and the veining carried through. Tell us at measurement where the joints will fall and we cut to suit. This is the main advantage Calacatta Rustic Brown has over natural stone on a kitchen that needs more than one slab.
Is Calacatta Rustic Brown hard to keep clean?
No, but a dark polished surface shows water marks and dust more readily than a light one. Calacatta Rustic Brown is non-porous, so nothing soaks in and it never needs sealing — a soft cloth with mild dishwashing liquid is enough. Avoid abrasive powders and acidic descalers, and use a trivet for hot vessels.
Can I see a full Calacatta Rustic Brown slab before ordering?
Yes. Calacatta Rustic Brown is on the racks at our Maduravoyal yard in full slab size, not in a sample book, so you can see the whole pattern in daylight before committing. We also deliver free samples anywhere in Chennai if you want to hold it against your cabinet and floor finishes first.
